Rachel's Story

the beginning

She didn’t know it at the time, but Rachel Smith’s whole life would change while watching the University of Miami football team play Duke. With a few lateral passes and an ending fit for a blockbuster, Rachel knew where to take her talents: the 305.

Now she is a graduate of The U with a dual degree in broadcast journalism and sports administration. During her time there she started a show called "The Culture," for which she was nominated for an Emmy. It also helped her realize her ultimate goal- to create compelling content that obliterates negative stereotypes, inspires the youth, and causes a ripple of positive action.

Her endeavors may have started at Bleacher Report, ESPN, Madison Square Garden and the Miami Dolphins but that was just the beginning. Today she continues her mission to change the world with her current position as a content creator at Wasserman/Laundry Service working exclusively on Nike's Jordan Brand, Amazon, Facebook and Hennessy.

Now she works hands on with athletes, brands and culture change igniters to tell their stories- their way.

Rachel looks forward to expanding her creative enterprise with compelling content creation now more than ever.
